SNV Mozambique

Details

Contact information

SNV started work in Mozambique in 1996 and has since contributed significantly to the country’s decentralisation agenda by improving domestic accountability through support to district and provincial authorities. SNV’s support to these local government structures is well recognised. SNV has also played an important role in the revival of the cashew sector through its support to small scale processing units, including access to fair trade markets.

SNV works in the agriculture, water and sanitation and renewable energy sectors.

SNV's operations in Mozambique are managed in three offices, Nampula covering the north, Chimoio covering the centre and in the capital Maputo.
